FRIO Wallet – Insulin Cooler, Insulin Travel case

The FRIO Wallet is the ideal insulin cooler and insulin travel case. It will keep in-use insulin within safe temperatures of 18-26°C (64.4-78.8°F) for a minimum of 45 hours, even in a constant environmental temperature of 37.8°C (100°F). This insulin cooler lasts up to 5 times longer than an ice pack and it is reusable making it the perfect insulin travel case. Available in 6 colours.

The FRIO Pack is very easy to use. All you have to do is submerge the insulin cooler in cold water for as little as 5 minutes allowing the Frio wallet to absorb the water. It will then keep Insulin cool for up to 45 hours.

Is it wet to carry?

No, once you have allowed the Frio insulin cooling case to absorb the cold water all you have to do is dry it using a paper towel and off you go.

The insulin cooler inner wallet is made of poly cotton, the crystals are made of polymer. The outer material of the Frio wallet is a non-woven polyester.

Frio Duo Wallet

The Frio Duo Wallet will fit;

2 Standard sized insulin injector pens or;

1 Standard sized insulin injector pen plus 2x3ml cartridges or;

1 Standard insulin filled injector pen plus 3×1.5ml cartridges.

1 Trulicity Pen

The Frio Grande Wallet will fit;

Inner wallet dimensions: 10 cm (H) x 26.5 cm (W); 4″ (H) x 10.5″ (W)

Outer cover dimensions: 1.0-1.5 cm (0.25″-0.75″) taller and wider then the inner wallet dimensions stated.

Note: We recommend that a waterproof liner is used with metal pens or with any electronic timing device or any accessory with electronic components to protect it from moisture.

Note: It is important that the immersion time is strictly monitored and adhered to so that the correct amount of water is absorbed. Over-soaking can render the wallet unusable. Should this occur, the wallet must be allowed to dry naturally until it returns to a usable size.
