Our silk luxury bedding is perfect for people with asthma, eczema and dust mite allergies. Dust mites can cause symptoms such as sneezing, dry, itchy eyes and stuffed or runny nose. Dust mites usually live in fabrics such as carpets, furniture, clothes and bedding.

Silk bedding is immune to dust mites, mildew and dander so it is ideally suited to people who suffer from dust mite allergies.

The 100% pure mulberry silk is the perfect filling for a duvet, it keeps you warm without weighing you down.

Silk filled duvet

This super king size silk filled duvet contains only the highest quality long strand mulberry silk. The silk is loop stitched to hold it in place. The hand stitching ensures that the silk is not crushed and it protects the air layers which provide insulation.

Silk duvets are excellent for cold weather or warm weather. They are moisture wicking during hot nights and they keep you snug and warm on cold nights. The three different weights available are light fill which is ideal for Summer weather, medium fill which is ideal for Spring/Autumn and deep fill which is ideal for Winter weather.

(If you order a deep fill duvet, you will receive a light fill duvet and a medium fill duvet and these two clip together to form one super cosy duvet prefect for winter nights.)

Care and cleaning:

Mulberry silk-filled bedding is easy to care for as it will not require cleaning under normal usage conditions.  It is recommended to use a duvet cover with your silk-filled duvet as with regular duvets

Should your silk bedding become a little flatter after prolonged use airing outside for a few hours, preferably on a sunny day, will enhance the silk’s natural properties and make it feel like new again.

If necessary use a mild detergent to spot clean or take to a professional dry cleaning service. It is very important to avoid machine washing as this will harm the bedding. Beware of silk-filled bedding that can be machine washed as this has been chemically treated to make this possible. The chemical treatment destroys many of the great natural properties of the silk.
