Medical Jewellery

Medical Jewellery gives peace of mind to people with severe allergies and medical conditions. In case of emergency, all of your medical information is easily accessible to medical staff. EMTs routinely check the neck and both wrists of unresponsive patients to see if they are wearing a Medical ID.

What to put on a medical alert bracelet.

Space on medical ICE jewellery can be limited so it’s important to put the most pertinent information down.

The basic information that you will need is:

Your name
Your medical condition/allergies
Any medications that you might need (Insulin/EpiPen etc.)
An emergency contact number with an area code

If you have diabetes, make sure to note if it is Type 1 or Type 2.

Here are some examples:

Sarah O’Brien                                                        John Smith                                                      Mary Jones
Allergic to Nuts                                                     Diabetes Type 2                                              Severe allergy
Carries an EpiPen                                                 Insulin Dependent                                          to penicillin
Mother 087-7643820                                            020 12345678                                                 01 2451245

Each of the bracelets and necklaces allow for different amounts of writing to be engraved. If you need more space, look for a bracelet of necklace with a bigger surface for engraving.
