Identify Allergic Kids at School

Allergic Kids ID at School

Working in an environment with allergic children?  Would staff recognise all allergic children in their care?

So that all staff can identify allergic kids at school it’s a good idea to include portraits and details of allergies of the children in your staff room. This will help members of staff recognise any children with allergies to be able to help them. This could be useful in an emergency or case of an anaphylactic reaction (even if they don’t work with the allergic child directly).  This can be particularly important if there are temporary staff or volunteers.  Don’t forget to include transport to and from school

With the best will in the world sometimes information is not passed on, this is a small tip to support allergy action plans and staff training
Remember to get parent’s permission first before displaying photos or information.
